Famine is one of the Four Horsemen and represents the loss of strength and power. He represents starvation, poverty and weakness.

Famine appears as a decrepit, bone thin man with sunken black eyes, dressed in rags. He carries a pair scales with opposite appearances on either side. One side is beautiful and made of gold and jewels. The other side is rusted, beaten and ugly. A tip of these scales can take away all the power (powers) and strength of any number of people instantly. Famine can literally starve a person to death in seconds.

Famine is a grotesque and sarcastic being who employs servents called Wastrels (usually as a punishment). Obtaining favor from Famine is not only difficult by dangerous because Famine is known for eating people. Famine is always hungry.
