Darlene has the power to make enhanced illusions that can kill. Her powers manifested when she was burned at the stake under accusations of witchcraft during the Spanish Inquisition. Darlene appears to be immortal age-wise, but no one knows for sure because no one is sure if they are ever seeing the real Darlene. It is also possible that she is a shapeshifter.
Darlene's illusions come with the power of fearshock that causes those affected to flee in terror. Some will suffer heart attacks and strokes. Darlene seems able to read what will scare a person the most.
